About
Since many Veterans move back to their hometowns after leaving service, a major cost for us is flying them in to receive treatment. Your Aeroplan contributions will be spent either on bringing them to our clinicians, or flying our clinicians in to them.

Good health and well-being
The Veterans Transition Network is a registered non-profit charity that raises funds to deliver the Veterans Transition Program free of charge to veterans across Canada. The Veterans Transition Program is an evidence-based clinical intervention developed at the University of British Columbia in 1998. It is based on 20 years of research, development and delivery aimed at providing timely and effective care that enables veterans to enjoy healthy and meaningful lives, and launch into their best possible future. Today, our organization delivers the Veterans Transition Program for both men and women in 8 provinces across Canada in both English and French. The program is facilitated by registered psychologists and counsellors, and supported by over 50 trained paraprofessionals who are veterans themselves.
