Launched in 2011, EcoConnexions is an employee engagement program that Earth Day Canada developed and implements in partnership with CN (Canadian National Railway). Together, we engage CN's 24,000 employees to reduce waste, conserve energy and improve housekeeping at CN yards and offices across North America.

With the support of the Aeroplan Beyond Miles program, Earth Day Canada was able to co-present 21 workshops across CN's North American network of yards and offices (17 in Canada and 11 in the United States) to educate and engage key employees to be "EcoChampions", leaders in the delivery of EcoConnexions in their facilities. In 2014, the program welcomed 82 new EcoChampions, for a total of 575 EcoChampions across North America—who educate, engage and recognize fellow employees on measures to reduce our impact on the environment, improve efficiencies, and encourage innovation.
