The Building Brighter Futures program, provides scholarships, bursaries and awards to thousands of Indigenous students every year. 

Indspire recognizes that First Nations, Inuit and Métis students encounter additional barriers to completing and funding their education. 

Over $280 Million provided to Indigenous students since 1996. 

Impact of the student awards: 

• 97% of surveyed Building Brighter Futures recipients have graduated or are working towards completion
• Out of 618 students that graduated, 37% obtained employment within the first month of graduation
• 89% of employed Building Brighter Futures graduates work in fields that support Indigenous communities
