This year, four expeditions are on the schedule. From March 8th to 16th, head to Algonquin Park, Ontario, for the Winter 2024 Great Expedition. Ten teenagers aged 14 to 19, in remission from cancer, will take part in an exceptional snowshoeing and winter camping adventure on ancestral Indigenous territory. In the summer, a group of 14 young adults aged 19 to 29, in remission, will have the chance to explore the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve from August 13th to 23rd by canoe. Finally, this fall, we'll be back on rabaskas on the beautiful Poisson Blanc Reservoir in Outaouais, accompanying a group of teenagers (14-18 years old) and another group of young adults (30-39 years old) undergoing treatment. More than adventure expeditions, these programs are an opportunity to connect with other young people with similar experiences regarding cancer, to celebrate achievements, to experience the benefits of being in nature, and to create lasting memories.
Let's go on an adventure!
