At EWB Canada our mission is to create systemic change by mobilizing engineers and leveraging technology to address global challenges. We envision an equitable and sustainable future for marginalized communities and for the planet.
With a focus on urgent and important global challenges, we harness current and evolving engineering expertise for impactful development. We prioritize local partnerships and ownership while amplifying voices, serving as a conduit for socially engaged engineers and technologists, striving for positive transformation and a sustainable future for the planet.
We are always mindful of travel costs and work hard to find the most economical means and modes. We are also very aware of reducing our carbon footprint, when and where we can (public transport, rail travel, etc.). However, we must travel over 1,000,000 miles a year to fulfill critically important program imperatives!
